Management of a German company

A CEO of a German company has the most extensive powers, his/her actions create and terminate obligations for the company, regardless of whether such actions are approved by the shareholders of the company or not. Sometimes it comes to unscrupulous behaviour of managers (parallel business and cooperation with competitors, illegal use of trademarks, payment of inappropriate remunerations, withdrawal of assets, etc.). Therefore, the candidate in question should enjoy the trust of the owners, strictly comply with shareholders’ decisions and regularly report on activities in Germany.

The management of a Germany company requires knowledge of German legislation (including civil, customs, tax, labor, banking and accounting), international business standards and business practices in Germany as well as routine of German authorities, requires regular or frequent presence in Germany.

Foreign EU citizens can usually only exercise the functions of a CEO without a residence permit if he/she is also shareholder in the GmbH. The problem with this is that a non-EU resident will find it difficult to open a business account at the bank. Recently it is almost impossible to open an account for non EU citizen.

The price of our services is much lower than the usual costs for recruiting and employment of a foreign manager (relocation costs, salary, paid vacations and sick leaves, health, social and pension insurance, costs for accommodation of the employee and his/her family, work permit costs, compensation for dismissal, etc.).
